XXzotic's new nickname is Nina Ross.
"First Among Equals," the album she recorded in 2006, will not be coming out. Ever.
"Things didn't work out with" Next Page Entertainment.
She's got a new project coming out July 4.
She's producing now.

More good news for fans of criminally unknown Arkansas musicians: musician and artist Jerry Colburn is teaming with Donovan Suitt, one half of RURAL WAR ROOM, the local radio show, record label and “cyber band,” to put out an album of unreleased material from cult favorites Elton and Betty White.

According to RWR's MySpace site, the label will release "The Best Love-Maker in the World" on August 27 to coincide with the release of the Oxford American's music issue, which will include an article on the couple.' The site calls the album the "first official release of the [duo's] full back catalog"

Following Jim Dickinson’s triumphant performance in Riverfest’s Arkansas Tent, there comes word that three of the musicians who played in support at that gig (Dickinson dubbed them the Rackensackers, an early synonym for Arkansans) are at work on a documentary on the famed producer, session man, singer/songwriter and Little Rock native.' Their roles, at this point, remain somewhat ill-defined, but the principals include Greg Spradlin (guitar), Dylan Turner (drums) and Jason Weinheimer (bass). No release date has been set, but according to Weinheimer, the group will release a trailer shortly. Rock Candy has dibbs on the web premiere.

'Trivia note via the filmmakers: Dickinson was born on the corner of 21st and Main in the building that currently houses ACORN and KABF.
